fragment design x RAMIDUS|RANSEL 2026
A new model of the RANSEL school bag, created in collaboration with fragment design (headed by Hiroshi Fujiwara), will be released for children who will be entering school in 2026.
Based on the traditional Japanese randoseru (randoseru) design, RANSEL blends the functionality of a daypack with a modern sensibility. The leather flap is crafted from cowhide, showcasing the natural texture of the leather, and features the fragment design logo engraved on it. The surface is treated with Scotchgard for peace of mind, even on rainy days. Reflectors in muted tones on both sides and the shoulder straps ensure both safety and style. Features like a hook for a security alarm ensure peace of mind on the way to school. The flap closure uses a FID LOCK magnetic part, making it easy for even younger children to use. The strap can be smoothly adjusted as children grow, ensuring comfortable use for six years. Additionally, a name card made from the same leather can be engraved with initials or numbers for a customization service.
As a special, one-of-a-kind school bag, it will accompany your child every day.
